Description: The Del Conte Course:
The Del Conte is designed as a "links” course with wide open spaces and various flattish areas, large lakes and wild rough at the edges, while the outer areas are framed by the peaks of the Monte Rosa mountain chain. The Bonora Course:
The livelier "Bonora" is reminiscent of a "parkland course"; it is spread over a vast hilly area surrounded by untamed nature with the kind of pristine streams and woods that are typical of the Ticino Nature Park. History:
Bogogno was the joint brainchild of Renato Veronesi and Rodolfo Molo in 1990; thanks to the collaboration of the three municipalities over whose territory the Golf's 250 hectares extend and the cooperation of the more than 900 owners of the 2,200 properties involved, work began in 1994. The Bogogno Golf Club was inaugurated in 1997; at the end of that year, the keys to the first houses in Borgo Alto were handed over, followed by Borgo del Rosa which was finished in 2003 and by Borgo del Bosco which was completed in 2007. The Club House was completely refurbished during the winter of 2006/2007. About the Courses:
The architect Robert von Hagge designed the Bogogno Golf Club's two 18-hole par-72 courses, combining technical quality, natural beauty and personality.
The design of the “Del Conte” recalls that of a "links” course with wide open spaces and various flattish areas, large lakes and wild rough at the edges, while the outer areas are framed by the peaks of the Monte Rosa mountain chain.
